An interactive installation of movement-responsive visuals, transforming space with dynamic content tailored to each visitor’s presence in Saudi Arabia.
For the TONOMUS NEOM project in Saudi Arabia, our team crafted an immersive, interactive experience within a corporate building, designing a series of screens and particle-based projections that bring spaces to life with vibrant, real-time visuals. Square particle motifs, placed strategically throughout the building, respond to human movement, transforming each interaction into a living visual display that evolves based on the visitor’s presence.
The interactive sections are concentrated in the entry hallway, where a combination of projected visuals and a curved LED screen structure envelops the space. These screens span a wall, the ceiling, and an additional wall, creating an immersive path that dynamically responds to each person who enters. Using Kinect cameras, we capture each individual’s silhouette and movements, allowing the visuals to adapt organically. With the power of Notch VFX, these real-time graphics interact fluidly, turning each motion into a unique visual experience.
Some screens showcase movement-responsive visuals that shift in real time, while others remain static to balance the flow and maintain a cohesive atmosphere. Our approach focused on optimizing the visual flow across different spaces to ensure each encounter felt intentional and dynamic, blending digital content with physical presence.
Our team managed the interactive section exclusively, collaborating with Instronic, who led the overall project production. It’s always a pleasure to work alongside such talented partners on projects that push creative and technical boundaries.
